On Saturday, July 16th, two Rich Township High School students will be heading to Oxford University to participate in the Oxford Royale Academy (ORA) for the next two weeks. Senior, Anthony Cotton will be taking “Experimental Psychology” and Sophomore, Miguel Dixon will be taking courses on “Racing Extinction: Climate” and “Politics & Global Leadership.”
Oxford Royale Academy is a leading global provider of elite summer schools. Driven by a firm belief that education is about much more than a formal classroom, they offer young people unparalleled cultural and learning experiences, giving them a window to a world of opportunity.
Oxford Royale Academy was founded nearly 20 years ago, with a vision to offer young people a broader and richer learning experience, and to drive their success in paths that they may not even have considered. Since then, ORA has welcomed more than 25,000 students from over 170 nations, and has become a three-time winner of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, and a five-time winner of the BETA Award for best educational product.
Our scholars will be taking advantage of various activities while at Oxford. They will learn from workshops, guest speakers, interactive lectures, educational trips, seminars, group projects, and debating current issues with their fellow academy classmates.
